Target dollar spot has batteries again, and cute wood emergency vehicles/trains!

Just in time for Christmas. The wood vehicles are really cute too. There we a lot of various stocking stuffers also.

I bought one of every wood truck/ boat/ plane/ train they had, plus all of the signs. They are the perfect size for his road carpet!!
What a find!

I got the signs and some vehicles... and the lady bug lollipop/twisty drum. :) Great stocking stuffers! On my way back tomorrow to check out the play food, since it wasn't there when I was there before.

Hmm... seems like your Target has a few different things. Mine only had race cars, ambulance, police car, fire truck, and trains. No signs? I'll have to go back and check.

OOh... what does the ladybug lollipop thing do/look like. I didn't see any at mine. DD 1st B-day party is going to have a lady bug theme. I'll have to check our other Target too.

It was a cute little red drum like the one pictured here:

The handle and bug were red, with the ladybug spotted wings painted on the drum heads. (They also had green and yellow ladybugs.)

You hold the stick part in your hand and rub back and forth (like you're cold), causing the beads to hit the drum heads.

I'd just take a picture of it, but the camera is in the car! If you want I can take one tomorrow to post. :)

Are the Dollar Spot batteries really a good deal? I just quickly checked the multi-packs of batteries and it seemed like the dollar spots came out to be more than the big packs. I didnt even compare the brands, so I'm not sure about the math.

They are Panasonic brand. They we're 4 AAA per pack, 4 D per pack and 2 9V per pack. I think it's a good deal. They also had AA, but I didn't need any of those. When I buy D & AAA on sale it seems like a 4 pack is $4 or more, so that would make them considerably more expensive. You can't really go wrong with 25 cent batteries that are name brand.

None of the Target's near me have the wood vehicles so I about an hour away from home today and stopped in Target and they had a ton of the wooden vehicles. I want to get Benjamin the carpet with the road for Christmas so I got him one of every vehicle plus all the signs.
I was so excited!

Also, his second birthday is going to be Thomas the Train theme so I picked up every wooden train they had to put in each child's favor bag. Can't beat the price!

I wish so bad that the we had a kitchen set so I could buy a bunch of the food items they had. Seeing those made me want to get the kids a kitchen set for Christmas!

We went today and went straight for the Power Wheels with no such luck, even scouring every possibility. I was so most upset. But then we went back to the $1 section and we SCORED big time. It was great, so I didn't feel too bad about the miniquad. My SIL said they were switching to the Go Diego version, which is why it was discounted. The Diego is pretty much the same with a few Diego stickers.
