This is a GREAT price!! We have this swing and it is worth every penny! My DS loves it! Only 3 more lbs to go and we have to retire him from it :( .. I would highly recommend this swing!!!

cindy - what's the weight limit on this? or when would a child outgrow this?

(the age limit says 2, but i can't imagine my 2 year old using this!)

thanks!

This is a great swing, we love it. Two facts:

1. Per the manual, the weight limit is 25 lbs.

2. It chews up batteries like there is no tomorrow. Especially if you use the swing, music and rotating mobile features all at the same time.

That being said, I am not sure we would have made it through the first three months without this swing!

thanks -- i wasn't planning on getting too much for baby #2, but now i may have to reconsider. if it holds up to 25 lbs, i think it could last us for a while (ds #1 was 17 lbs by 4 months).

all the reviews are pretty convincing!

This was by far one of the best baby gear investments we made. You will definitely get your $$$ worth out of this swing/cradle. My daughter is nearly 6 months old and still LOVES this swing. My parents have a standard swing and she tires of it more easily. I plan to consign it when finished. The consignment shop owner said they can't keep this item in stock....very popular!

Yes, the weight limit is 25lbs. My 8 month old is 22 lbs so we will both be sad when he is too big for it :( .. He takes his daily naps in it and loves the sound of the crickets. We have never had a problem with always having to replace the batteries but then again we dont have the birds going that often.

Out of all our baby gifts this was by far the best!!!

This is the swing we have for our DS. He has always loved it and it has all the same qualities of a papasan, just brighter colors and a lighted inner dome with fish. Sometimes even still, when I am desperately trying to get him to take a nap and he won't (no matter what I do), I eventually pop him into the swing and hope it doesn't collapse as he's now 27.5 lbs. He then ends up sleeping for 3 hours. I need to put it away, but every time it seems like we no longer use it, he'll need it after a month or so without it... oy, I have no backbone. But I am so glad it exists.
