Dollhouse for 2 1/2yr old

Just decided to get my dd a dollhouse for Christmas. She spent half of Thanksgiving day playing with our friends daughter's dollhouse. I was going to wait until next year, but she really seemed to love it now. Does anyone have a wooden dollhouse that they just love? Any deals out there? Thanks, Lesley

I just bought a Ryans Room one for my 2.5 twins b/c I found it for $49 (usually $150+) at my local mom and pop toy store. I liked it b/c it opened really wide so both girls could play. Appearantly, they have redesigned this year's house so you may be able to find a deal on the older model...

For kids so young, the key is to find something with high ceilings and a lot of open space to reach into. You don't need a lot of cute detailing and tiny pieces which will be lost/brojen by day 2, kwim?
