Looking for a great deal on a table. One that folds would be a huge bonus, but since I prefer wood, the only one I know of is the Stakmore table, and I can't find a good deal or coupon for it.

I have two extra chairs, so I don't need a table and chair set, just a table.

Anyone?

If you want a cheapo folding table, then CVS has some, but I'm sure the quality is not that great. Another nice wood table (although not folding) is the farm one on clearance at fao.com

The FAO table isn't available anymore :-( ... anyone happen to see a wood table for cheap (can be particle board) -- around $30-$40 would be great!!!! My local craigslist has nothing, and I haven't been able to find anything online. THANKS!

I don't know if you are in the northeast, but if you are, Mill Stores have a few kids sized tables, both finished and unfinished.

Also, some bigger craft stores carry unfinished furniture and once in a while I see big items like tables.
hth!

We bought a great wooden table and chair set from Ikea for about $40. I know you don't need chairs, but they also had some "just tables" for around that.

This one is $30 and seems to be solid wood: http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15567&catalogId=10103&storeId=12&productId=27440&langId=-1&categoryId=15668&chosenPartNumber=90061292

And this one is $40 and solid wood:

I agree - you might want to try AC Moore or Micheals as they sometimes have these unfinished (and pair it with one of their coupons and you'd have a fab deal!). Or do you have a Wood You store around? http://www.woodyou.com They also have some unfinished kids tables as well.

Here's another idea:

I would also suggest ebay too.

Good luck in your search!

Thanks for all of the great ideas! I wish I had an IKEA but our isn't coming until Summer -- I am so excited! If I had one, my house would already be half (or more) IKEA by now!

I am going to check out all the other links :-)

I ordered my daughter's table off of simplycheap.com. They sell a lot of educational supplies on the site. Not the easiest site to search, but the prices are pretty good.
