I'm visiting my parents w/ my 8-month old and realized I need a stroller NOW. My parents want to take DD out on strolls in parks (some paths are gravelly but most are paved) and carrying her around for 30+ min is out of the question. We'll be here for 2 weeks so I don't want anything too expensive, but definitely want something that won't be a workout to push.

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Where are you visiting? It might be easier to point you to some stores for you to try a few.

ETA: A Chicco might be a good choice - good value for the money.

I would go to Kmart/Walmart and grab an umbrella stroller. I think you should be fine with an 8 month old. You can also add the cushion for the head that you use for the carseats. I also like the Combi strollers because they are extremly portable. THey have a carrying strap for the airport and fold up really small. I think you can get one for around $50-60. Babies R Us sells them. Good luck
