I was thinking of getting a nap mat and backpack but I wanted to see about the shipping first.

The only free shipping method I know is to also buy an item that has free shipping (look on the PBK homepage). It should give you free shipping for everything in your order. Look for sale items with free shipping. It worked well for me when they had Christmas ornaments for $6 with free shipping- so basically I got an ornament for the same cost as shipping.
