Airline promo codes?

It seems like Southwest, Airtran, JetBlue, Allegiant Air, all have places to enter a promo code. Do they ever actually have coupons for airfare? I have never seen one, but it always taunts me that there could be one somewhere out there!

Anyone have any ideas?

SWA has sent me an individualized promo code twice in the past. I haven't seen universal/nonspecific promo codes though. NWA usually has a code in every Val-pak (or similar mass mailer) coupon envelope for various dollars off RT airfare depending on the zone you travel to/from.
