I just purchased a Calin doll and stroller for DD 1st birthday and then I also bought DS a Toons wooden 2 pc wooden table and stool set on Amazon that was reg $49.99 down to $16.46 with free shipping! Darn I wish I got home from work before DH does so I would be there when these items arrive and I would have time to hide them! lol

I think you should get that Jeep Wagoneer. It's ONLY $21. If you never use it (But I'm sure you will), you could sell it at a garage sale for $25.
Plus, I was thinking that I'd spend $21 like no big deal for a half day of entertainment for my kiddies. At least this $21 entertainment will be ours to keep - will always be right at home in my garage. Even if they use it for only a total of 1/2 a day in the end, it's still a good deal.

We already have several ride-ons but i get the feeling this one will be well loved. My only regret is that I didnt act faster to get the one w/the wagon!

Holy Moley Crapeola!! That is twice as much as it was to even start with!!!! It's less than that on other sites. Someone at Amazon must've seen all the orders & thought they'd better jack it back up. I am sooo excited...I just got an e-mail from Amazon saying that my Jeep Wagoneer has been shipped! Now the only downside is that the estimated delivery date is 5/23 and my husband will be home then :(
My niece is coming to stay with us the following week and I was so hopeing that it wouldn't come until then so she would be here to get it from the UPS guy and hide it for me! lol Actually our UPS guy normally comes in the evenings so I guess DH would be here anyway.

Amazon rarely cancels orders. They have occasional insane deals that usually last only a few hours.

Amazon cancelled two of my orders in the last few months.

One was for plastic outdoor chairs (Jo had posted these last Fall). Another was for Le Creuset pans I ordered around Tgiving. I got a series of delay messages, that required my acknowledgement and acceptance of the delayed dates, which I always agreed to. Then months later, Amazon says it has to cancel my orders because they could not get the items in. I guess they sometimes presell before they actually have inventory.

I ordered 4 signing times DVD's from them and they went on a trip around the united states. Every time I checked tracking, the package was in a different state. UPS certainly did a number with that one. Finally called Amazon and they shipped out a replacement package. I also got an e-mail that if I get the original package, I'd be charged for both. Well, 3 days later, tracking said I received the package. It wasn't there. So, I called Amazon again, and they said not to worry, I won't get charged again. Then, 3 weeks later, the original (and very beat up) box showed up at my doorstep. So, I have two copies of each DVD now.

I was very happy with the way they handled the situation. I was "this" close to never ordering from them again and they instead turned around and made me happy. I've since ordered 6 times from them in just a couple of months. I've never ordered from them this much before.
