I'm looking for inexpensive children's cds to create a collection. I have a nursery rhyme cd, but I need more kid friendly music for the car. Any suggestions on where to find cheap cds?

Check Ross/Marshalls if you have them. I've found sets for $5-7.

I got a really great set of 4 cds at Target for 9.99. It's called toddler's favorite tunes or something along those lines. It's a primary colored box with a lion on the front, I believe. It's a really GREAT set.

I also picked up some clearance baby einstein and disney music at walmart for 3.00. This was just last week, so it might be worth a look.

I found some Baby Genius dvds and cds at TJ Maxx. It's from their Children's Favorite Songs collection and includes both the dvd and cd for only $6.99.

My library has great children's CDs. I can put them on my computer at home (I use the ipod software) then burn them onto CDs in mp3 format. That way I can choose my favorites and fit a ton on a CD.

I just want to point out that I'm pretty sure it's breaking copyright laws to copy music CDs that you do not personally own. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this.

I got 3 sets from www.abcdistributing.com

Each set contains 3 CDs, total of 101 songs per set. One is a lullaby set, bibles songs set, and a kids' favorites set. Each set was about $8. I've got most of these songs stuck in my head most of the time b/c that's all I play in the car. :)

You're right. I was just about to say something. As a musician and an educator, it really bothers me that people do this. I always talk to my kids at school about the morality of doing this.

By all means, check out music from your library- we do, too! But when you find something you really like, support the artist! :)

Hi

I bought the 8 pack Baby Genius set from Walmart online and chose the site to store option so no shipping costs for 40.73+ sales tax.
( 8 DVD + 8 CD) -great reviews on Amazon.
