Wanted to get someone a gift and was told that the little guy wants a tea set. Any deals and/or brands that are nice.
Thanks,
Ella

You can check out Schylling's website for ideas--they have a whole bunch of different kinds. I think you need to decide what material you want the tea set made of (perhaps depending on the age of the child) and what size. There are child size ones and doll size ones. They can be made of wood, metal, or porcelain, or fake porcelain, and of course, plastic.

All that said, Kidsurplus has some, and I've seen or gotten porcelain ones at Marshall's. Ikea has a plain white porcelain one that's kind of gender neutral. There's a matching dish set too. Also, Alex makes a picnic basket of metal dishes with cups that's blue that are gender neutral as well.

we have the Schylling one pictured above that is yellow, green, orange, etc. Very gender neutral. DS loves it. It is breakable, but we're okay with that...if you aren't opposed to breakable, it is a nice set and big enough to actually drink out of (DS likes pouring water into the pot and the cups).

We have the same green/yellow/orange/blue set:
http://tinyurl.com/3eymk6 and we love it--my daughter is not exactly the perfect princess at tea parties, so the set gets knocked around a lot, but has yet to chip or crack--also, I think that it is a good size for her (she's now 4). We got ours at TJ Maxx for $7.00, and I have also seen the same set at Marshalls as well as Tuesday Morning.
