Beating the dead Amazon toy horse: who got the $5 "promotional" credit?

So in the previous thread someone (lilicat88 or similar...sorry can't remember exactly) mentioned they got a $5 credit in response to their email complaint. Well, I have sent three emails and called three times and all I've gotten is my shipping removed (a week later). They told me that NOBODY has received ANYTHING, and that if someone got a $5 credit, then they, "don't know what unrelated issue that was in regards to". So, was she the exception or am I talking to the wrong people or what?

It was the same day they told me on the phone.

I received my credit a couple of days after I placed an order (early May). I never had to contact them for the credit.

Was it early May like the other poster, or was it towards the end when so many of us got scr8wed? (Plan toys, Wedgits, etc)

It was during that huge screw up. All my Buddy L toys were cancelled.
