Just got home from Target and they have marked down a lot of items in the toy department. Here are a few deals that I saw:

TJ Bearytales was marked down to 14.98 and all the books to go with him are 1/2 price:

http://www.hasbro.com/playskool/tjbearytales/

Lots of doodle bears, they were 3.98 :

http://www.doodlebear.com/

Fisher price kids tough game player was 3.98:

http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-K7857-Kid-Tough-Preschool/dp/B000LSZW0O/ref=sr_1_7/002-5207440-3748867?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1183682886&sr=1-7

Lots of Vtech was also marked down, some Leapfrog games too.

I was surprised to see so many clearance toys yesterday at Target!
I got DS a bunch of Bob the Builder vehicles (most were $2.47 but some were $1.98) plus the carry case (holds 15 vehicles) for only $6.47. I bought them with the intention of putting them away until his birthday but I am thinking about using them as a reward for using the big potty...if he starts going in the big potty for a week then he can have one or is that really bad of me to bribe him.
I so want him to be potty trained!

TJ was still $20.98 at my Target. Bummer I really wanted him as a potty-training incentive. Might have to hit another Target on my way home tonight.

My Target had soooo many toys on clearance.
Pirates of the Caribbean, Power Rangers, Dora the Explorer items, Parents toys, Bob the Builder, Thomas, Geotrax, Leapfrog. Most of the items were on the back panels with 30% off signs, but some were in the aisles with red clearance tags sticking out. Good luck finding what you want!!

I seem to recall that this grill was recalled a couple of weeks ago. You may want to double check before purchasing.

It says through Feb 2007, so I would guess the ones on the shelf are OK, but anyone who wants this may want to double check. We already have a grill, so I didn't get one.

I got three crates of wooden fruit for 2.48 a piece, a bunch of Polly Pockets for $1.48 (the Hula ones), and a Polly Pocket thing that had a bunch of pets with it (I don't remember what it's called!) for $4.98. I'll probably go back in a couple of days, because a bunch of the National Geographic toys were on sale. I picked up some binoculars for $3.48, but I figure I'll stock up on some of the dinosaur stuff for Christmas and birthday presents.

Disappointed to say the least. Although clearance markers, only 1 was marked with a clearance price tag and the rest rang up around $6 on their in-store scanners. Didn't want to upset DS by arguing at the counter, we don't need them, just wanted to treat DS.

If I'm around another Target will check there.

Tons of stuff on clearance at my Target. I picked up the National Geographic binoculars for $3.98 (originally $7.99). A couple of HAPE/Bamboo Collection games for $4.98 each ($9.99). And a couple of Schleich horses for $3.48 each ($4.99).

Just got back from my Target and bought a bunch of the Play Wonder kitchen items on sale.

None of the items had the orange stickers and there was no clearance sign so it looked like they weren't on sale.

Thanks to this thread I just checked the items on the in-store scanner and they all came up with the 50% off price.

So just make sure you scan the items even though the items don't look like they are marked down.

Play Wonder Market was reduced to $41.XX. Originally $79.99, I think.

We had the loving family people for $1.98 (2 pp). Perfect for our plan toys dollhouse.
The brio stuff (not compatible with the regular wooden set...i think it was diecast?)
and one or two but not all of the Geotrax stuff was also marked down decently.
Going back today w/o DH ;)

I managed to get the last Happy Giddy Lemonade stand from the play wonder section. It was originally $29.99 marked down to $19.98. I scanned it and it came up as $14.98. We plan to use it as a puppet theater.

And get this, when I got home and cked my receipt (over $200 worth of clothes, etc.) I was only charged .99 b/c it was apparently mislabeled and had two barcodes. The cashier scanned the wrong one and neither of us noticed.

So definitely scan things b/c you never know.

I am back from a Super target and A regular Target in our area. Neither of them had any of the play wonder food or cooking things on sale. :(

I am bummed.

I did see a fair amount of other things on sale and picked up a few thing in the dollar spot.

Large dinosaur magnadoodle, reg 14.xx, now 7.xx
Thought about getting another for future gift, but didn't know who I'd give it to.

Also, Fisher price drum for $10.

I stopped by Target today and they had about 3 aisles stuffed with sale items. All 30% off. The items that were 50% off seemed to still be in the regular aisles (ie. PlayWonder, Vsmile) items.

The Play Wonder kitchen accessories were marked 50% off.
The Play Wonder Fruit Market was only marked down 30% and I ended up buying it since I've been wanting to get it for the longest time.
It was 41.xx + tax.

A lot of the outdoor toys were on sale - they had the Lemonade Stand, little tents, and raincoats for 50% off. They were in the area by the patio stuff.

Good Luck!

Sorry I don't remember the exact one. I know it sits 2 kids and had cupholders and was orginally around $50. Sorry for the wrong link!!

Also, we had the geotracks, magnadoodle, bob the builder sales mentioned in PP. I didn't notice anything else, but I picked up some baby stuff and also geotracks for DS's b-day. I may head back next week to see if anything else is good!

ETA: change link. I had the wrong wagon! Sorry!

The pic you posted a link to was a little tikes wagon but your post says Step 2 wagon. Which one is it actually? I would love to find one for my son, do you have a DPCI number (the number on your receipt next to the item)? I would appreciate the info!

Thanks for posting this, I wouldn't have know to look, but went for something else and they did have the train table on a bottom shelf for $40. Along with a starter train set for $12.xx. I'm going to hold onto the box and see if it goes down to $20, but $40 is still a good deal.

Went to our two Targets with no success. In fact personnel at the store said they did not even carry it in stock. Oh, well, I guess we were meant not to have it but thanks for posting. They did have a lot of other great toys on sale. Shopping for Christmas in July was fun. At this rate I will be done by September! Thanks!

Thanks for posting that it went down further!!

Mine rang up at $15.12 and was the last one in the store. I asked them to check so I could pick up another for a friend.

Gotta love the variable pricing at Target...I never know if mine will have these awesome deals that I read about here!
