Staples school supplies: 1 cent and 9 cent sales

Staples is having that crazy school supply sale: 8pk. pencils for 1 cent, pencil holder for 1 cent, manual pencil sharpener for 1 cent. These three have a 3 per customer limit. But there's also the two-pocket paper folders with or without fasteners for 1 cent (10 per customer limit).

School glue 9 cents each (limit of three)

Ball point pens 5 pk. free after rebate.

I stocked up last year so have no need this year but thought this might help someone.

I was just coming to post this! I spent a total of $2.53 and bought 10 folders, 6 binders, 3 packs of 8 pencils, 3 bottles of Elmer's glue, 3 pencil sharpeners and 3 pencil boxes. I figured that I'll pull out what the kids need (which honestly isn't much) and donate the rest of the stuff.

It was fun walking out with two bags of stuff for so little money!

No special conditions, just limits on how many of each you can buy. Does anyone know if Staples puts other items on sale before school starts, like cheap erasers, markers, etc?

i know last year i bought crayons and markers from staples. (also folders, binders, paper) i want to say it was the end of july beginning of august. i also got lots of stuff at target last year and of course walmart. i know it was later than this they ran more specials. HTH..

I was at Walmart and they were stocking their school supplies. Crayola Crayons for 25 cents. I'm sure that the other products were just as cheap!

That is what I am hoping for. I have a Staples very close by, so it's easy for me to take advantage of these discounts. WalMart is far, and this location is just awful to shop at so I'd rather pay more than deal with it.

Thanks for the heads up. I went today and stocked up on the sale items for less than $2 (after the rebate)!

The Staples I went to had plenty of the sale items in stock, but the .01 and .09 deals ends this Wednesday (not Saturday like the rest of the flier).
