Does the children's place do price adjustments?

I bought my son some clothes from the childrens place on July 3rd and now they have been further reduced.

Call and check. I asked the same thing last week at mine, and the cashier told me you had to have the receipt (I did) AND the items...why??

According to the back of my TCP receipt:

"We offer a one-time price adjustment on full price purchases only, within 14 days of the date shown on the original sales receipt."

Last night got a bunch of stuff, all was $3.99 each. Heck, I bought denim capris and jeans that won't fit until 2009 but for $3.99 they are really cute!
