Thanks for the post. I just ordered 2 along with the MD easel. DH is going to kill me.

I read mixed reviews on this item, but for the price I couldn't resist. I think my boys will really like it. And it qualified for free shipping, but it was something like $24.XX so I had to add on something else to get the free super saver shipping. I hadn't ordered the mag deal, so I picked up good house keeping for $5 and it also included free super saver shipping. So it all worked out in the end.

I think the shipping must have been charged on ONLY the paper roll? The scooters and easel are Amazon items and should ship free.

Nope. I took all the items in my cart out to see and it was still $6.99. I just put another easel in my cart and tried to ckout. It says shipped from amazon.com, sold by puzzlesusa. And the shipping is still $6.99.

Are all Amazon products supposed to ship free?

The $6.99 shipping is b/c you're ordering from a 3rd party (puzzleusa). So basically, you're buying it from puzzleusa, but Amazon is handling the transaction. If you look at the right hand side of the item page on Amazon, you'll see "more buying choices" which includes Amazon for $39.95 w/ free shipping. It's tricky the way they switch things around all the time.
