One of the technology websites I visit for work-related news has listed the Magellan RoadMate 3000T GPS unit as their "hot deal". Though it's refurbished, I would still buy it if I needed one. Usually refurb units carry the standard warranty, so the risk in buying is minimal, and the price seems great at $160. I think they are usually a few hundred dollars more.
I posted this here since I've seen some similar posts asking about GPS deals in the past, but honestly I know very little about portable GPS units and this unit in particular.
