Does anyone know WHY their prices keep changing? Do they actually keep up with supply and demand on an automated basis, or are they just nuts? :)

Sometimes it seems that an item will be a bestseller at a low price and then the prices rises but buyers still see it as a bestseller at the new (higher) price. Cynical.

There must be more reasons ...

That would be interesting to know. I assumed it was b/c they ordered a specific amount of product at a specific price and when that's gone, they change price based on the new price from their supplier(s). Supply and demand like you said. They prob have some automated formula for markup based on their costs.
