Pam, there are tons of freebie patterns out there on the internet, especially for ponchos this year. People are resurrecting all the patterns that were popular 30 years ago - it's really quite fun looking through them!! Also, any adult pattern can be adapted since they are usually pretty simple.

I want a poncho! If you feel like branching out in the poncho biz, a pregnant woman in size small would love to buy a poncho too. :)

I wish I could read patterns.I've only just learned to knit and the patterns seem so complicated.My 3 dds would love these.

The current issue of Woman's Day has a basketweave pattern, although for grown-ups. I have the issue and would be happy to photocopy the page and send it to you.
