Now that I have your attention....
Ok, I know it's not for babies, but my oldest son, Josh, who is in 9th grade honors Biology, has to make a model of a cell, a phospholipid bilayer, to be exact (I think.) We are using pompoms, yarn and felt, because it has to be made from household objects and isn't everyone's home filled with these things? Anyway, to my question.
Half the yarn pieces hang from the pompoms on the top and half must stick up from the bottom. So, I need stiffener. I am trying not to have to buy it, so I was wondering if anyone knew of something at home that might work. I was thinking flour/water/glue or something.
Any ideas?
Beth
