Hi,

I'm trying to come up with a "brilliant" idea for my almost 3 year old to make and send to the Grandparents for Valentine's day. Does anyone have any good ideas or anything their planning?

Thanks!

Do you have a pottery/ceramics studio nearby? Last year my mommy friends and I did our babies' footprints on tiles, mugs, plates, etc. and gave those to husbands and g.parents. I'm probably going to do it again this year.

That's a good idea! Did you go to one of those ceramic painting do-it-yourself stores?

Thank You!

This isn't really for a child to make per se, but I loved the idea, similar to the "daddy" pictures from Fathers Day.

Yep. We have a couple different ones in town and I have so far done this twice! It's such a fun thing to do.

That is adorable. What a wonderful idea. I think I'll be stealing that one.

I did something like this last year, and put Jude's heels together to make it heart shaped. Does that make sense?

I don't quite understand:

A) Did you do this & take a picture?

B) Did you use the feet to make a heart shaped impression on a plate?

Sorry if I'm being dense, but I could see how you could do both!

Thank You!

We did it with handprints the other day. We used pink paint and a sponge paint brush. Then pressed the hands to form a heart on paper.
