Anyone find Similac Advance Singles in their stores?

I've been searching everywhere for these and can't find them anywhere. I sent an email to Similac and they said they are out there on shelves already.

Powder or liquid?

I have the little 8oz cans of ready to feed that are a lifesaver. They're usually $8-10 for eight little cans in a box.

They're hard to find (always sold out), so when I DO find them, I stock up.

Shoprite, Target, CVS, etc. usually has them.

The powder sold in 4oz "sticks". I've only seen them in regular Similac not the Advance.

DS will not drink ready to feed.

I have searched every Target, Rite-Aid, CVS, Duane Reade, Eckert, and BRU in NYC, Long Island and Northern NJ!!

Why are they nowhere to be found??? I've come across Similac w/Iron but not the NEW Advance.

Anyone in the Tri-State area seen them around???

Can you order them on-line form somewhere like drugstore.com or cvs.com?

I know I have seen them at my local grocery store and also at Target (but I see you've already tried there).

call similac and order them. i had to do that. just make sure you specify exactly what you want to buy and why. they kept telling me that the stores around me had them but they never did. i ended up with free shipping. you do have to buy a case but heck its lasted me almost 9 months.

I contacted Similac and a customer service rep told me they discontinued the Similac 4oz Powdered Singles w/iron and have never produced the Advance version and are not sure if they will. Therefore, I cannot purchase them through Similac.

Is this true? Are you all finding the regular or the Advance?

Oh well, I just thought it would be handy to keep in my diaper bag just in case....

Mare-

They never DID have the Advance ones. Only the "original recipe".

The only "small" versions I've ever seen have been the 4 oz. glass bottles and the 8 oz. RTF cans.

The new diaper bags the hospital is giving out has the advanced singles. If Similac tells you they are discontinued get the name and number of the rep for your hospital. Then call him/her and ask her how you can get more of them. Make sure you let them know that you had some and loved them and want more. If they really are discontinued the rep should be able to get you some. While your talking with the rep ask for coupons, they should be willing to give you some.
