nursing and a sore throat?

k- its 3 AM, so this might be a little incoherant, but I need advice. I think I'm getting sick and I need to know what I can take for a cold...sore throat, stuffy nose...meanwhile, I will be drinking lots of water and taking lots of vitamins :)

Lots of vitamin C, gargling with warm salt water, any cough drops that don't contain sage or decongestants. You CAN take decongestants, but they can really diminish milk supply in some women. If you decide to take them, you may want to try fenugreek or blessed thistle to compensate. Here's a link:
