Can You Mix Formula in the Playtex Nurser?

Does anyone know if you can mix formula in the Playtex nurser bottles? I'm not sure how the liner things work.

Yes you can. I did it all the time in the past.

For on the go,I used to pre-measure the formula into the assembled bottle. Then I'd add water already measured (used a regular bottle and capped it)- dumped the water in, put the nipple and lid on the playtex bottle and shake! Worked just fine.

One thing though.... you cannot do 8oz. You can only do 6 oz this way (i.e. 3 scoops of powder). If I needed 8oz then I'd just mix it up in a tupperware shaker and pour it into the bottle.

The only problem with mixing formula in the bottle is you get a lot of bubbles. I used to stir it with a long spoon or thin whisk instead of shaking it.
