Just started 6 month old on solids, and discovering that every feeding results in spots and stains on his outfits. New mom going bonkers! Are there any large bibs out there that cover the entire body????????????????????? LOL!!!!
Seriously though, help!

i had the same problem. it doesnt cover the entire body but i found that the baby bjorn bib works really well. its a soft plastic that u can wash in the sink. i love it because you can just wipe it down and use it right away. and it will never stain. i just wish they could make it bigger. i ordered mine from one step ahead. here is a pic

I like the Bumkins superbib, which you can get at kidsurplus.com. It's pretty big, and what I like about it is that you can just rinse it out and it dries really quick. They actually even have a bigger one with sleeves too.

Here's a picture of the bumkins ones

Also, I was at BRU this AM (also for bibs - the straight jacket variety that DS can't remove!!) and saw several varieties of large bibs like this. FWIW, the kind with pockets are great for when they start finger foods - catches all the messes!

I would just take Logan's clothes off to feed her. I still do if we are having something messy.

I like the bumkins bibs.

The caregivers at our daycare use toddler t-shirts as bibs - works really well.

Do you sew? My MIL takes cute dish towels, or bath hand towels, and inserts a neck hole near the top. Voila... large bib! All you have to do is pull it over the kid's head like a shirt and it covers their whole front all the way down to the knees. These are the only bibs I use now and they are awesome!!! Let me know if you want to see what they look like--I'd be happy to take a picture.

I have some of the BRU ones that have the sleeves. They run larger than the bumkins sleeved bibs I had for my daughter (I believe bumkins has a toddler size as well). The BRU ones arent quite as nice but they have worked okay for us.

Thanks gals!
Nope, I don't sew, but that could be a possible business if I could, because I don't like the prints on the bumkins, though I did order some.

Those bibs at letbabiessoar.com are a great idea! I think we have a winner!

But I think my DS would be annoyed by it. He already pulls his regular bibs off.

Just wanted to let you ladies know that the Bumkins bib is good, but the Kushies brand is better! It velcroes in the back instead of a tie, and the prints are slightly cuter.
