DD wont nap when Dad's around!

Hi,
I dont know why, but on weekends when DH is around, my baby just wants to play with him and doesnt nap well! Come monday, she's just fine! Is it because she's excited he's around (she's only 4 months!) and just wants to play? Does he need to spend more time with her? On weekends, they usually get some alone time for a couple hours if i go get hair done, store, errands, etc...
Could use some suggestions, please! (:

I would rather stay up and play with Dad then go to sleep!

My DD does the same thing. My DH usually works nights, when he is home she does not go to sleep easily. I think it is because our rituals sort of get out of whack. What has sort of worked for us is the two of them establishing their own bed time rituals. That way she doesn't think it a free for all just because Daddy is home.

Great minds think alike!
We've started that too...this last week, we've had daddy rock her and wind her down each night after I give her a last feeding. Hopefully over time she'll also think it's not a "free for all" That's funny though, glad it's not just our household!
