I hate pumping but I like to mix EBM with DS's cereals, fruits and veggies. Plus now that he's taking a straw cup, I'd like to hand him over to Grandma's so DH and I can grab dinner AND a movie.

The girls aren't huge (34C's) so sometimes my nipples get really sucked into the pump flange -- ouch! I've read that the flexishields prevent that in addition to being more efficient at "milking" me (for lack of a better phrase).

Does anyone have any experience with using the flexishields?

TIA!

I liked them. I found that they helped facilitate letdown for me. Worth a try!

I hated them. They made the "tube" too small and it hurt.

It's the size of your nipples that determines what size flange you need, not the size of your breasts.

My nipples are pretty small too -- so perhaps this is what I need to keep them from being sucked in too far!

Kidsurplus.com has them on sale so I'll give them a try.

Thanks!

I have used them and these are great! It makes pumping less uncomfortable for me and I seemed to get just a little bit more milk with these. These would work well as long as your nipple can fit in it.
