Soy milk vs. cows milk

Julia seems to prefer soy milk over cow's milk. I was surprised since I didn't mean to give her any but we ran out of cows milk so I gave her some of my soy milk. I plan to give her both but wanted to know if there were any advantages/disadvnatges to soy milk? Anything I should know?

BTW- I give her plain, organic, fortified soy milk if that helps at all.

I just asked my Ped. about this b/c Martie likes soy better too and he said it was fine. He said that the basic purpose of milk is for the calcium, so soy is good. I try to give her the same kind of soy as you and I also check to make sure that no flour of any kind is added. A lot of soy milks that I see have flour added to it.
