I know that nuts are supposed to be avoided until 2 yrs of age and dairy until 1 yr. etc. Is there a good link that has all of these solid food recommendations listed? I checked the AAP site but my searches didn't bring up anything specific.

My friend would also be interested too, as she thinks her ped may have given her some outdated information.

Thanks,
Marcy

I think this is specifically for infants who have a family history of allergies.

Here are a couple I've found useful (may be the same chart as Karen's link; I didn't check--I have these bookmarked...):

Especially if you have any history of food allergies in your family, hold off on tree nuts, peanuts, & shellfish for many years - at least 3!! Early exposure may increase the likelihood of developing allergies to highly allergenic foods. It can't hurt to hold off on any dairy products until at least 1, & eggs even later than that.
