DD is down to nursing once a day and her interest is dwindling to a few minutes. I no longer pump and sadly think soon that will be it. Trouble is I think I have a plugged duct (white spot) it doesn't bother me that much but I'm wondering if it will ever go away of its own accord without some suck (sorry!).

TIA

Try taking lecithin. It also sometimes works to open it up with a warm washcloth and hand-express.

Maybe massage it while in the shower? i had a friend who got a plugged duct just after weaning and I wasn't sure what to tell her about how to get rid of it. If it's not painful, it might be a more permanent thing. I've had a white spot on my nipple for months that comes and goes. My OB said it was no big deal, but of course check with your own doctor to be sure of your situation.
