Anyone have suggestions on where to get pear joice... or a different brand of pear juice besides Gerber? DS' ped recommended it and I'd love to find it for less money (and in a larger container.)

TIA

I would go to a health food store and buy pear nectar. Dilute before giving it to your son. If it's for constipation, you can also try a pear/white grape juice combo.

Whole Foods has pear juice in larger containers.

Hi,

I just bought the large Gerber bottle, and then poured the juice into ice cube trays. Once frozen, I transferred the cubes into a ziplock freezer bag. I just pop a cube out into a sippy w/a little bit of water, and it melts pretty quickly.

Do you have a Trader Joe's? They have pear juice.

You could try Earthsbest.com. Their organic products are recommended in the book, and you can order straight from the company. (BTW, I haven't tried it yet, my almost 5mo old is only on rice cereal so far!)

Thanks! I went to earthsbest.com, but I'd rather have a large bottle in the fridge. Planning to head to TJ's tomorrow.

ETA: nothing at TJs :(

Bummer about TJ's! That's odd--I'm sure I've seen it there before.
