What do people wear for nursing when it's cold? I have been just hiking up one side of whatever shirt I happen to be wearing, but now that it's getting colder I'm finding it uncomfortable, as it leaves my arm, chest and stomach mostly exposed. Any ideas? Thanks!

Well, you can buy a nursing shirt to wear under your "outer" clothes, or you can be cheap like me and slash slits up the front of an old t-shirt. I think it works better on a shirt that isn't too fitted, but in any case it helps some.

I increased the temp in my house because I figured that if my body is cold, then my baby's body is way too cold. That is the more expensive way to handle that situation, unfortunitely.

Nursing camisole from Target. Keeps my belly warm when I hike up the shirt. I own 0 (that's right zero!) official nursing tops, and have always just hiked up a side of my shirt, or opened a few buttons. The cami keeps people from seeing my belly, anyway!
