Is a 1 year old to young for the snack trap. I put my DS favorite snack in it and he does not get how to get them out. Will this just take some time or do I need to put it away for when he gets older?

TIA

We just started using one with my 15 month old. She can get larger crackers out (like TLC or wheat thins) but can't get smaller things out (like Cherios or Annie's Bunnies). I think it will just take practice. She can reach in and grasp the item but loses it before it makes it all the way out. I would just keep at it and maybe try different things in it.

Thank you. Of course after I posted this he started getting the hang of it.

He'll get the hang of it. It took Ryan a frustrating 4 or 5 days and he finally got the hang of it. Put stuff in there that is really easy to get out (like cereal) at first until he learns it.

Ryan has now discovered how to take the top off of it so I think our Snack trap days are numbered after being our best friend for months now!!

You will love it and so will he. :)
