I am going to the dermatologist to have several moles removed and checked. I know they use a local anesthetic (novacaine??) for removal. Do I need to worry about pumping and dumping after this?
TIA!

Nope! No need at all!

Nothing over an L3, which should be just fine for a one time deal. You can request one of the L2 ones if they have them. Lidocaine is even AAP approved. I would take the chart with you - so they don't refuse to do the procedure because you are BF.

Thanks so much! I had two removed today, and will go back and have a couple more removed. Apparently insurance will only pay for 2 at a time?!? The Dr. said everything looked OK, so I am very relieved. I have several moles I was worried about, but have been putting off getting them checked out.
