My two week old is terribly messy when feeding from the bottle even though i am using the size 1 nipples. Have they come out w/ a smaller holed nipple in the last couple of years since i bought these bottles for baby #1?

I know there are brands with slower flow nipples, but i have a ton of Avent & Dr Browns, so i am pretty invested in them. I can deal w/ the mess if necessary, but am hoping they have come out w/ a size 0 or something.

Size 1 is their "newborn" flow. DD was over 6 months old before she could handle a size 1 Avent nipple. We switched to Dr. Browns because of that.

Maybe i'll try to Dr Browns we have. I had decided not to use those this time due to the extra parts, but maybe it will help keep the liquid in her mouth!

well, it worked. The DB nipple was better. Guess it's back to the parts. :) Thanks!

Glad it worked. We hated all of the parts as well but the DB bottles were just so much better for DD that we had no choice. DD HATED Avent.
