I can find storage bags at Target/Walmart but what I would like is storage bottles. Since it is easier to double pump into bottles vs bags and I like the reusability of bottles vs bags. I have some bottles that came with my breast pump. Where can I buy more. Does not have to be Ameda bottles just need to be compatible with the Ameda pump.

nak. haven't tried these yet, but did reasearch the same question for myself.

Avent regular and Via bottles are compatible IF you buy a conversion kit.

Mother's Milk Mate bottles are also compatible, I think.

ETA: edited link for avent kit - different store charges half as much, seems to be the typical price.

I got mine free with a pump from happy mothers, but their price for the kit alone seems high:

(don't know if this is the best place to buy it, mine came free with the pump purchase)

I found 4-packs of storage bottles at Target. They were made by Evenflo and look like this: http://naturalbaby.stores.yahoo.net/937510.html

Evenflo also makes glass bottles, but they are a little harder to find.

I just used the basic Evenflo bottles, they are like 3 for $3 or something equally inexpensive. I didn't like using the lock and ring though so I bought some Dr. Brown's caps to use for transporting and that worked great for me.

Any standard size bottles will work.

if you get the 8oz bottles you can prop them on your thighs while pumping and pump hands-free. If your pants are slick, get one of those rubber mats for the bottom of drawers and lay on your lap first.

I am trying to find the evenflo storage bottles that are in your link. I have tried Target and Walmart and all I can find are the bags.

Medela storage bottles are compatible with the Ameda, so I would think that most any narrow neck bottle would also work.

I use Gerber Clear View bottles with my Ameda PY. Target carries them.
