When to stop taking Fenugreek

I've been taking Fenugreek since 5 week old DS was 1 week old. I'm not even sure I needed to start, but I had supply issues with DD and DS wasn't gaining his birthweight back quite fast enough. My supply is fine right now and he is gaining well. Some articles I've read say that you can stop after your milk supply is good. For those of you who have used this herb, when did you stop and did it affect your milk supply?

I use fenugreek periodically when I am worried about my supply. I usually take it for a few days and then stop when I feel like my supply is better.

Thank you for your reply, Beth. I stopped taking it yesterday and haven't noticed a difference in my milk supply.
