View Full Version : frozen fruit chillers

ds is in love with these. is there anything frozen that i can make at home? nothing else seems to work for him. he wants them morning noon and night. TIA

not sure what you mean by frozen fruit chillers? we have been making homemade popsicles for DD out of watered down pineapple juice, frozen in an ice cube tray with popsicle sticks stuck in once it is slushy. They seem to be a better size for her than the popsicle molds you can get at Target. I want to try some frozen smoothie-pops for her too. Much better than regular store-bought popsicles, IMO. hth

that might work.. anything slushy would work. he just needs "cold". popsicles are ok. i don't like giving him them all the time. i also have to cut them up and he uses a spoon. he doesn't like the stick. i will just hve to start tying new things.

You could maybe try taking some fresh fruit, like strawberries, putting them in a blender with ice cubes and blending just til slushy? So that he could drink it out of a cup? Hope you find something that works :)
