This is a really easy way to make pictures smaller so that you can post them and not have it take up the whole screen.

Upload your pics to Shutterfly. View them in Shutterfly. Right-click on the picture and save it to your computer. (change the name to something you will remember, since Shutterfly gives it a strange name)

It will be smaller than the original pic, and the perfect size for posting here or sending in an email.

This probably works with other photo sites too, but I have only tried it with Shutterfly.

I'm bumping this thread up because it was so helpful to me.

ETA: This technique greatly decreases photo-uploading time!

I used the Shutterfly method tonight and it worked great.
Upload to Shutterfly and view pics "as a slideshow." If you have a PC, you can right click on the photos, save them and rename.
If you have a Mac, drag the photo wherever you keep photos on your hard-drive. Then rename.

easy-peasy!
