Changing email address?

I was unable to log in under my user name and to request a new password, I had to enter my old email address which doesn't exist anymore. :( I re-registered under a new name so that I could post this message.... but is it possible to change my old profile (not that I had THAT many posts but I've been a member for a long time!) or should I just start from scratch as a "new" member??
