Don't forget, all orders for the Miracle Blanket coop need to be in to the yahoo group by midnight Friday so we can get the order placed. Here is the link to the yahoo group if you are interested and haven't already joined. Leave your bbb id in the memo space so Julie can approve you. We've got a great order going, so the prices are now around $16 plus shipping for the blankets!

Personally, I loved it as did many of the moms in my Mother's group here. If you do a search in the Lounge for Miracle Blanket, there are several recent threads on it. As for colors, pricing, etc., you can join the yahoo group and get all the details. I believe we're up to 100 blankets, so it's $15 per blanket + shipping, which is half the normal price.

Go to the Group home page and click on the files section. In there you will be able to see pricing colors, etc. And also instructions are on the home page too.

I just approved 7 people who "applied" last night. We'll be out at Sesame Place all day :) so I won't get to do more until tonight.

Keep on applying, I promise that I'll approve more people tonight.

Remember, the co-op sign-up ends tomorrow night.

We have hit over 101, so the base price is 1/2 off.

Be sure to check out the files section, it explains pricing and shipping, colors, etc. Christine is in touch with Miracle Blanket and will be getting back to us on other colors that may be available. So even if you already signed up, you may want to keep an eye-out for that update from her.

How many are you ladies buying? Do I need more than one? I'll be a new mommy in Oct. and just read "The Happiest Baby on the Block" so I'm excited about using these to swaddle.

Is paypal the only form of payment? I can't find any other on the group, and I don't have paypal. Guess I will miss out. :(
I think that the new baby can survive in reg receiving blankets if Maddy could! lol
Great deal though!!

Well, we actually got by with just one, but we used other blankets as back-ups whenever it was being washed. I think 2 would probably be easier. I'm actually getting 4 more, so I can give them away as baby gifts. At $15, you can't beat that price!

Thank you Eileen you are so nice. As always! :D

I think I am just going to have to bite the bullet and sign up for an account. I think the co-op is taking CC right? Does anyone know what the fees are? I am assuming that I will need to pay them...
It is just getting to be too much of a hassle not having pay pal.

You can sign up for a cc account just for paying w/ paypal. That is all I have. I sometimes think about doing funded paypal, but haven't because for me it means opening a new acct. in case there's every a problem, that will just have minor amounts of funds based on what I'm buying/selling.

I think Julie is set up to take paypal cc and isn't charging any fees because it's an acct. she already has. She can correct me if I'm wrong.

And if you are just signing up for a paypal acct. so you can pay for stuff, you don't get charged any fees.

HTH!

Thanks Andrea I think I did right... I guess I will test it out on Cathy at Sew Cute first. If she gets the money then I proabbly did it right, it kept asking for my bank account number though, that is nerve wracking. I have heard too many horror stories about paypal emptying accounts and the chaos that ensues.

Yeah, it bugs me too. Paypal is always gunning for you to get verified and connect it to a bank acct. I might do it at some point, but it won't be to my main checking. After all the problems I've seen some people have, I would make sure it was an acct. I used strictly for that and it wouldn't hold much money most of the time, and then I could transfer funds as necessary to it.

Good luck on your first transaction! You'll be glad you have it! Now you'll just be frustrated by those who can only sell by funded paypal, like I am! I'd love to buy and see with those folks, but I'm just not set up to do it yet!

I found that I needed three or more. :) But, I didn't have a washing machine at the time. I would think two would be good enough for anyone who can wash on demand. It's only when you're having tons of blow-outs that is helps to have lots on hand.
