They would only offer me 10% off, though I tried to get them to do better. Add on tax and individual shipping charges and the savings were nil.

You'll get a better price using Jera's suggestion to order from Ebay with free shipping (I think she said they ran around $39, and you won't pay tax, either).

Sorry everyone! :(

Oh, and I want to add that I asked if they have any intention to come out with more neutral colors, and unfortunately they do not (at least it's not on their radar at this point). If I was queen of the world they'd sell them in khaki, black, red, white, & pale green.

Natalie's early intervention therapist saw me looking at these in a preemie mag and highly recommended we get one. I was looking on ebay - 38.99 with free ship. If the co-op can beat that, I am in. Depending on the price, I might get two (one for the mom of another NICU baby).

EDITED to add - color pref lilac.

Just wanted to update that I've given Bumbo initial estimates and am waiting on a quote.

Will advise ASAP!

I have registered for one, but if you get a good deal on them or I don't get one at my shower I would be interested in ordering.

Okay, I have heard back from them, but I'm still working to lower the cost.

First of all, they are located in TX (like me) so state taxes would be added (approx 8.5%) unless someone else was willing to receive the shipment. I think the TX tax would really cut into the discount.

They are willing to ship them out for free. Does anyone have an approximate weight so we could estimate shipping charges?

I just noticed that Target is now carrying these....I didn't check the price because my DS is too big, but no shipping to deal with. You might want to check your respective local Targets and see if they're there.

I think I saw them for either $35 or $38 at Target.

Target is $39.99 plus a $8.99 shipping charge adding up to $49 to my door. They only had two colors to choose from. Walmart does not sell them on their site.
I found it on www.greatbeginningsonline.com for $35.99 and with shipping to my zipcode it came to $45.50. They had all 5 colors on available. This seems to clearly be the best deal out there right now. I've always had good luck dealing with Great Beginnings in the past.
Most of the ebay deals add up to $1 cheaper, but I'd rather not buy from an Ebay dealer if I don't have to as you never know what your getting. Hope this helps. Sophia
