I'm a DBS bride - bought my dress from Martins. I picked up my dress after I had contacted Martins about the status of my dress a couple weeks ago. (Thankfully, I used your suggestion about bumping up the wedding date because I lied and told the salesperson back in February that I was having my wedding in mid-September.) I thought it was odd that when I picked up the dress, I asked about their alterations and the sales person stated that Martins is no longer doing alterations - they were closing their alerations department.
