Does anyone have a good recipe for raspberry iced tea? I love the taste, but am trying to cut back on high sugar drinks (like the Nestea concentrate). I can't have herbal teas -- they give me migraines, so I think my only option is to add something to regular iced tea. Any ideas?

TIA,

What I do for flavored iced teas is a brew a pot with 1/4-1/3 flavored herbal tea bags (peppermint or lemon are great for this!) and 3/4 - 2/3 regular decaf iced tea bags. I can't stand the taste of decaf iced tea, but the flavor helps mask it. And by combining the two, you aren't overwhelmed by the taste.

Maybe add a sugar free raspberry flavored Torani syrup or raspberry extract?

I don't have a box in the house right now, but I feel like the last time I looked at the Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger box I realized it wasn't really herbal. I think its black tea like normal ones. Anyway, don't know if that would give you a migraine, but it makes a great iced tea. I usually make a concentrate, steap twice as many bags as normal for an amount of water and then let it cool to room temp and add ice cubes. That way the ice cubes don't water it down so much.

How about buying black tea with raspberry flavor already added to it? There's lots of black teas out there with fruit flavors added to it - infact, at this exact moment, I am drinking black tea w/apricot from the Republic of Tea. I often brew these teas and then just pour them over ice - yummy!
