I am in a serious rut with DS's meals. I cook him the same standards again and again. What easy and healthy things do you make that your kid loves?

Do you mean you make separate meals for DS, or you want easy meals that DS will enjoy too (in addition to you and your DH)?

My DS eats whatever we eat, but he does have some favorites. He loves chicken enchiladas, any type of pasta, rice with dal (indian style lentils), and grilled steak. He's not a big fan of meat so I always try to make sure I have 2 sides (carb and veggie) for us and then DH and I just share our meat with him. He also doesn't like bland foods -- I made chicken and dumplings a few nights ago and he wanted no part of it. LOL He prefers food with spice.

DS isn't too fond is squishy vegetables like zucchini, eggplant, etc but he loves carrots, cucumber, corn and tomatoes. Some days when I don't want to make a veggie side dish I make him a quick cucumber/carrot salad with sliced veggies tossed with a little bit of mayo, salt and pepper. He loves it and it gets him his veggies.

spaghetti and meat sauce

cheese tortillini with organic marinara (both from Trader Joes)

Mac n cheese

pizzas made at home (boboli crust, sauce, cheese and whatever toppings DS decides on... usually pepperoni)

chicken, zuchinni, onions sauted then tossed with spiral noodles and gravy

tacos... build your own... meat (beef or turkey), cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole.... rice and beans

BBQ chicken or roasted chicken, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes

I make him pancakes some mornings, which he loves:

I substitute butter for the oil, just melt it in the pan you are going to cook them in.
