Favorite dip recipes?

What are some of your favorites? I am trying to think of something to bring to someone's house for a picnic on Saturday, and feel like trying something new. I saw the old thread on crab dips, some of which sound really good. I may try one of those, but in case I want to make more than one, what does everyone suggest? TIA.

maybe a cucumber yogurt dip, I think its greek/mediterranean?
you vould serve it with pita chips or veggies?
