I have a bunch of round steak in the freezer that needs to be used up. Does anyone have any good recipies. I would love one for beef burgandy and anything else you might have. Thanks!

Beef Steak Provencale

2 tablespoons flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 1/2 lbs boneless beef round steak
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup dry red wine
1/2 cup water
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 c pitted black olives
6 medium carrots cut into 1 inch pieces (or baby carrots)
2 medium onions, quartered
2 tablespoons snipped parsley

Mix flour, salt and pepper. I usually cut the steak into stew meat cubes. Toss with flour mixture. Heat oil in skillet. Cook beef in oil over medium high heat, turning once, until brown...say 10 minutes. Add wine, water and garlic. Heat to boiling, then reduce heat. Simmer for 1 hour. Add olives, carrots and onions. Cover and simmer until tender.. about 45 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley.

I also substitute chicken and white wine in this recipe for a change.
My dad jokingly calls this polluted stew as I usually add some extra wine to it.

Sounds absolutely delicious. I always add extra wine to things too so your comment made me laugh. Anyway, can't wait to try it.
