We had a potluck playgroup last week and one of the moms brought this recipe, it was divine!! Thought I'd share:
Sopapilla cheesecake
2 cans crescent rolls
1 8oz. box cream cheese
1c sugar
1tsp vanilla
Grease bottome of a 9x13 pan and press 1 can crescent rolls out on the bottom ot the edgest. Mix together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over 1st can of crescent rolls. Roll out 2nd can and place on top of cream cheese mixture- make sure to press out large enough to reach edges prior to placing on top of cream cheese.
Meanwhile, mix in a microwave safe bowl:
1 stick butter
1/2 cup sugar (you can do half white half brown)
1tsp cinnamon
Bring to a GOOD boil
Pour over crescent rolls and bake for 30 mins. at 350 until golden brown. Serve hot or cold!
