I thought it would be neat to hear what people do for Christmas. In our family it is a less traditional meal than Thanksgiving. This year our menu is:

cheeseball and crackers (mom's specialty-extra hot and spicy!)
hot artichoke dip and pita squares from the pampered chef book I just got today :)
(maybe pumpkin soup if my brother wants to make it)
jerk chicken, rice and peas, jamaican vegetable (cabbage/carrots/ thousand island dressing)
brownie pudding with ice cream :) (my favorite part of the meal!)

This is pretty much a repeat of last years menu for boxing day (the day after Christmas) :( but I couldn't come up with anything else and I have to go to the store today! Other years I've done pot roast and the more traditional spiral ham. What do ya'll do?

I'm having 13 people over for Christmas dinner. Our menu is...
Standing Rib Roast
Mashed Potatoes
Rice Pilaf
Broccoli Casserole
Glazed Carrots
Yorkshire Pudding
a bagged salad from Costco, I can't remember the name right now, but it is mixed greens, white balsamic dressing, cranberries, nuts and feta cheese. Really Good!

One sister is in charge of the wine, another dessert and another appetizers...

We are also having a Christmas brunch with
Quiche
French Toast
Cinnamon Rolls
Various Fruit
Bloody Mary's

Your menu sound really good!

I'm all done with shopping for presents, but I do have to go out this weekend and shop for all this.

We'll have 12 people over for Christmas Eve and we are doing the traditional Italian menu of serving fish (not the full out 7 fish thing, still don't know why fish is served on Christmas Eve in the Italian tradition, but it's what my mom wants to do!)

We are having:
Crab cakes
Shrimp in linguini with some kind of sauce- garlic or pesto
rice pilaf
creamed spinach
rolls
and probably more, but my mom hasn't finished the menu yet (It's at our house, but she's going to do most of the cooking- yippee!)

Lots of cookies and a pumpkin pie for dessert

Not sure what apps yet

Christmas Day is along the lines of Thanksgiving, but with either lasagna or some other Italian dish thrown in there.

We'll be having Strata for breakfast. Yum! And cinnamon rolls (family tradition).

Traditional meal otherwise, Turkey with all the fixens. DH didn't get leftover turkey at Thanksgiving he's been complaining all month (and he bought one at Costco last weekend).
