I went a few weeks for the first time and loved it! Any recipes anyone recommends I should try on my own? Anyone have the cookbook and recommend it, or not?

I got the cookbook out of the library. I was kind of dissapointed. I ended up copying about 5 recipes, but that was it.
I have made a few things on my own - pizza bread, salmon packets. I got a few more ideas this last time I went that I may try.

I need to make a braided bread on my own, that looked so easy and fun.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will check to see if my library has it.

Here is the BBQ Beef I made
1 flank steak
1 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 Worchester
2T Liquid smoke
1T Minced garlic
Bake all day in the crockpot on low. Serve on rolls. Will fall apart.
The sauce was very strong, I would almost 1/2 the sauce or double the meat.

I have made the Easy Family Lasagna which I think is pretty good. It freezes well. I make it in 2 smaller pans as it's just DH, DD, and myself eating it.
