I try to make enough dinner to have leftovers for lunch the next day, and I've been using those divided plate type plastic containers. But now I've read enough that I'm ready to make the switch away from plastic, especially since they go in the microwave. I've found small glass containers with lids that could work, but I really like the little divider things that keep my food separated (I'm obsessive like that). Anyone seen those in something safe? TIA!

I have been looking for this too. :) I have lately been packing some things in natural waxed paper (for ds' lunch). The rest of the time I either use glass or plastic. If I use plastic I try not to put really hot food in them and I have never microwaved in them; I always put the food on my plate first. If you can find #5 plastic I think that is the Ok one. Some of my plastic things that I owned were #5 so that made me happy.
